DJ Khaled is the best—and if you don’t believe it, he’ll tell you himself. The Miami-based, New Orleans-raised DJ, producer, and entrepreneur got his start at a record store in NOLA where he met Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Cash Money artists early in his career. After moving to Miami, Khaled began DJing in reggae soundclashes, soon moving to commercial radio and landing a show on 99 Jamz. He released his debut album Listennn… the Album in 2006, coinciding with the launch of his independent label, We The Best. After establishing himself on a series of platinum-selling singles over the next two years (“We Takin’ Over,” “I’m So Hood,” and “Out Here Grindin”), Khaled signed his first major distribution deal for We The Best with Def Jam in 2008. Over the years, Khaled teamed up with his high profile friends for monumental albums like We The Best Forever, which included the Platinum-selling smash hit "I'm On One" featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. His hot streak continued with Kiss The Ring in 2012, Suffering From Success (2013), I Changed a Lot (2015), and Major Key in 2016. His latest album Grateful (2017) debuted at No.1 on the US Billboard 200.
